Campus and Program Overview
New Horizons Village spacious, safe, and park-like 13-acre campus is home to 48 intellectually disabled adults whose families
and guardians have found peace of mind by entrusting their loved ones’ care to New Horizons Village professional staff.
Our campus includes resident homes; health care services; recreation; kitchen and café, an Active Treatment Facility, and administration.
New Horizons Village homes, offices and buildings surround our central park and picnic area, landscaped with trees, lawns flowers and walkways that create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
Our six residential homes are each equipped with separate resident bedrooms; semi-private bathrooms; a full kitchen; a laundry room with washer and dryer; formal dining room; and a spacious family room with large-screen television; computer, and games, puzzles, and books for groups or individuals.
Each home’s covered lanai enables residents to enjoy being outside regardless of the weather.
The New Horizons Village campus recreation complex includes an Olympic-sized pool (monitored by certified lifeguards when the pool is in use) and an expansive covered picnic and barbeque area. The site also includes space and equipment for activities, games, and practice areas for sporting events.
At our Active Treatment Facility (ATF) residents are taught independent life skills; money skills; crafts; art; geography; and other subjects that enhance their independence goals. The ATF’s picnic and garden area is an uplifting place for residents to go during breaks and outside learning activities.
