New Horizons Village’s mission, vision and values (at the far left on this page) are the standards we set for ourselves in service to the intellectually disabled and their families. They are the foundation and the structure for New Horizons Village loving care for residents.

New Horizons Village is a premier state-licensed Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). Located in Citrus County, we serve individuals from Pasco, Hernando, Lake, Citrus, Marion and Sumter counties.

Our 48 residents receive care around-the-clock from our staff of more than 100 employees. New Horizons Village six residences; resident health services; active treatment facility; dietary team; recreation staff; and all the services on our 13-acre campus, create a nurturing setting in which our residents live, learn, and grow.

New Horizons Village staff, from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and with broad professional experience, is a team. It’s the responsibility of each team member to live our mission, vision, and values. For our residents this translates into the highest level of care, personal growth, and independence. For their families and guardians, it brings peace of mind and confidence.
